How can we help?

Kronkoll is a simple, private expense tracker — scan receipts, split costs with friends, set budgets, and import statements. Below are the most common questions. For anything else, email us and a real person will reply.

How do I scan a receipt?

Tap the + button, choose Camera, and photograph the receipt. Kronkoll reads the amount, shop, date and line items automatically — you just confirm and save. You can also import receipt photos from your library or a bank export (PDF, CSV or Excel) from the same menu.

How does sharing expenses with friends work?

Set a nickname in the app so friends can find you, send a friend request, and once it's accepted you can add shared expenses to a list together. Kronkoll keeps a running total of who owes whom and lets either of you settle up whenever it suits you. Everything is invite-only — there is no public content and no one can see your expenses unless you share a list with them.

Do I need an account? Where is my data?

No account and no sign-up. Your expenses, receipts and budgets live in your own iCloud — CHK GmbH cannot read them. The only thing stored on our servers is an optional friends directory profile, and only if you choose a nickname. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

How do I delete my data?

Your expenses and receipts are removed by deleting the app and clearing its data from your iCloud settings. If you set a nickname, you can remove your directory profile (nickname, discoverability and pending invites) from within the app, or email us at privacy@kronkoll.com and we'll remove it for you.

Does Kronkoll connect to my bank?

No. Kronkoll never asks for a bank login and has no bank connection. To bring in past transactions, export a statement from your bank as PDF, CSV or Excel and import it — the file is parsed on your device.

How does Apple Pay logging work?

It's an optional Shortcuts automation you set up yourself: the app walks you through creating a personal automation that hands each Apple Pay purchase notification to Kronkoll. You can turn it off or delete the automation any time in the Shortcuts app.
